Resin volume determines the system's capacity:
1 cubic foot is a standard size for smaller households (1-3 people) or moderate hardness levels.
It can typically handle around 30,000–32,000 "grains" of hardness (a measure of mineral content) before needing regeneration.
Larger models (e.g., WC150 or WC200) have 1.5 or 2 cu.ft. for bigger homes or harder water.
The resin beads are durable but eventually wear out (lasting 10–20 years with proper care).
